Cambados has a historical district, which was declared a "Property of Cultural Interest". It is one of the best restored disticts of Galicia.

    Cambados is also known as the Capital of Albariño, the cultivation and export of this wine give this fame worldwide. Here was created and promoted the Denomination of Origin Rias Baixas, controlling and improving wine production for export to the main markets.

    The quality of fish and shellfish, as well as the quality of fresh products of the garden, makes the gastronomy, one of the main sectors of the economy of Cambados. The typical products of Ría de Arousa tasting, accompanied with an aromatic Albariño, is one of the signs that distinguish this unique town.
